In 2011, Henry started Agritecture.com, a leading media platform covering the news, business, and design of how agriculture integrates with the built environment.
In 2013, Henry co-founded the Association for Vertical Farming, which grew to have approximately 50 business members including several multinational companies. The AVF has since hosted its annual Summit in Beijing (2015), Amsterdam (2016), and Washington DC (2017). Henry resigned from his role at the AVF in 2017.
In 2014, Henry started Agritecture Consulting (Formerly Blue Planet Consulting), the premier urban agriculture consultancy assisting a global portfolio of projects. Agritecture Consulting has provided expert guidance to over 86 clients in 21 countries including entrepreneurs, multinational companies, architecture firms, municipalities, and educational institutions.
In 2017 Henry co-founded Agtech-X a Brooklyn-based urban agriculture incubator.
Whatever project Henry is working on, his primary motivations are the triple-bottom line: people, planet, profit.
